Today, Barkerville remains a town of discovery, a unique streetscape with more than 130 heritage buildings, live theatre and period merchants. There are several great places to eat, gold rush style. As well, you can take a shopping trip back in time at any of the many shops in Barkerville. Old time shows and demonstrations, along with all kinds of tours and walk-in displays and an always surprising array of street entertainment will make Barkerville the absolute highlight of your visit to the Cariboo.
